All those 24-hour lockdowns can make you feel super blah, but if you could just get through your workout you’d feel so much better afterward. A good ole Thanksgiving workout challenge may be all you need to get those happy hormones flowing. It’s very easy to slack off on your workout when your day lacks structure or when you have too much time on your hands. At Fusion Fitness, we believe in nurturing good physical AND mental health! So set some time aside tomorrow, give thanks workout and enjoy you’re the best way you how to. Take a screenshot of your Thanksgiving workout challenge!
Plan it!
Set yourself up for success. Determine what time would be best to get your workout done. Are you planning to sleep in? Will you work out first thing in the morning? Or are you a late afternoon kinda person? Either way, make a plan and see it through. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
Set it up!
You will need water, a towel, something to time your workout (especially your wall sit and your planks), and an exercise mat. Put some music on and have fun with it.
Do it with a friend!
Call up your friend, see who does it faster. If you do nothing else at all tomorrow, get your workout in. Share it with a friend. Do it together! Hype-up each other. Virtual team up, no problem! You may just motivate someone else with your post to get off the couch for a while.
Tweak it if you like!
You don’t have to follow it to the T. It’s a guide. You can switch up the workout to make it more challenging or less taxing. If you prefer Russian twists to sit-ups, switch it up. You can repeat more than 3 times if you’re up for the challenge. Doing it only twice is okay too. The idea is to be active.
